Job Description :
Your role as a mobile developer is to work with the Mxit product development team to implement new features and optimize performance on our apps for Android phones and tablets/iPhone and iPad. This will require strong programming skills as well as an eye for cutting edge UI and UX.
Responsibilities :
** Design and build advanced applications for the Android/iOS platform
** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
** Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
** Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
** Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Qualifications :
Minimum requirements – Android :
** Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or equivalent practical experience.
** 4+ years of software development experience
Preferred requirements – Android :
** Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or equivalent practical experience.
** 2+ years of Android development
** Have published at least one original Android app
** Experience with Android SDK
** Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
** Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Preference will be given to EE candidates as well as people with disabilities
