1.SCADA Technologist – SCADA Engineer :
We are currently recruiting for a SCADA Technologist/Engineer for our Consulting Engineering firm. This rewarding opportunity as an integral part of a fast paced multi-discipline team will provide accurate, detailed SCADA systems solution deliverables that satisfy operational and business stakeholder needs. The SCADA Specialist will have a strong understanding of many aspects of the programming and configuration of industrial control system networks and SCADA devices including RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, etc.

Main responsibilities :
** Programming and configuration of SCADA hosts, RTU’s and some PLC’s on various platforms.
** Solid working knowledge in communication protocols and networking applications of LAN’s, WAN’s, radios etc.
** Perform on site troubleshooting, testing, commissioning while liaising with clients requirements.
** Maintaining complete project documentation with respect to Engineering design and construction, including all construction packages, as-built requirements and return data information.
** Be able to facilitate project deliverables that meet client’s quality expectations and schedule. Promote the company; it’s people and talents.

Qualifications :
** Knowledge of Oil Field Commander and Cygnet SCADA systems is an asset.
** Able to adapt to various situations quickly, while adhering to deadlines.
** Excellent trouble shooting skills. Able to provide suggestions and solutions for problems as they arise.
** Strong software computer proficiencies – Word, Outlook, Excel.
** Advanced communication skills. Able to communicate across all levels of the organization and with a variety of clients.
** Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
** Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation or Computer Science Engineering/Technology Diploma with at least 5 years in real-time control systems programming.
** Prefer 5> years of experience in related Alberta oil and gas field.
** Working knowledge of VBScript, ACCESS and SQL Server would be considered a definite asset.

2. Senior Electrical Engineering Designer – Senior Electrical Engineering Lead:
Attention Top Notch Sr. Electrical Designer/Leads! This challenging opportunity is to be a key member of our Electrical Engineering team. Not only will you provide accurate, detailed Electrical solution results you also bring your experience of System deliverables such as Drawing Management to the table. You have proven Senior Electrical Designer experience coupled with a fantastic entrepreneur like demeanor when interacting with clients and vendors.

Main responsibilities :
** Design and draft electrical design packages. These include all the various layouts, schematics, schedules and drawings involved in such Design packages.
** Be the prime involved in MAC Engineering’s Technical Design deliverables.
** QA/QC for intermediate/junior work. Lead as required. Mentor, guide.
** Review vendor drawings and implement the P&ID requirements into electrical design.
** Support the design of the MV/LV power distribution system, single line diagrams.
** Accurately prepare area classification drawings.
** Perform power system studies (short circuit, coordination, motor starting, arc flash and harmonics.).
** Calculate voltage drops, size conductors, grounding, cable trays and lighting requirements.
** Develop electrical bulk material quantities (MTO’s).
** Develop load list from P&ID’s and mechanical equipment list.
** Design the Electric heat tracing system and draft the EHT ISOs.
** Be able to facilitate project deliverables that meet client’s quality expectations and schedule. Promote the company; it’s people and talents.
** Design and draft drawings using AutoCAD software.

Qualifications :
** Able to adapt to various situations quickly, while adhering to daily deadlines.
** Strong software computer proficiencies – AutoCAD, Word, Outlook, Excel.
** Advanced communication skills. Able to integrate across all levels of the organization and with all variety of clients.
** Degree or Diploma in Electrical Design
** CET registration with ASET.
** Prefer 10> years of experience in related Alberta oil and gas field.
** Knowledgeable with latest revision of the Canadian Electrical Code.
** Valid Drivers license.
** Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident only need apply.
