Intermediate Structural Detailers :
Canada’s leading manufacturer of glued- laminated timber for the Construction Industry is interested in adding key individuals to our team. We are looking for industry experienced intermediate and senior level detailers for a variety of wood building projects.
Location : Edmonton, Alberta
Responsibilities :
** Create detailed drawings suitable for fabrication of our Glulam products including related steel connections and hardware from designs provided by our Engineers.
** Create placement, erection and assembly drawings suitable for job site use by our clients.
** Create production and shipping documents.
** Assist project engineers, shop and site personnel with problem resolution and other inquires.
** Assist in Quality Control by providing dimension checks on finished projects.
** Create production coding for CNC based Glulam framing.
Qualifications :
** Proficient knowledge and skill in the use of Cadwork, Excel and Autocad.
** Diploma from a recognized technical college in Architectural, Civil or related Technology.
** Minimum 3 years experience producing architectural, structural, civil or steel fabrication drawings.
