Banana Investment Ltd is a beverage Producing company based in Arusha ,Tanzania. Banana Investment is looking for a motivated and highly experienced individuals to fill the positions of :

1.Chief Internal Auditor :
The position of Chief Internal Auditor exists for the purpose of evaluating accounting, financial, credit and other operational activities as an independent appraisal function.

Nature and scope of the position : Reports to managing director

Duties And Responsibilities :
1.Ensure effective management of the financial resources of the company and that all operations are within the policies and plans as laid down by the company management.
2.Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting, financial and operational controls. the extent to which BIL ’s assets are accounted for and safeguarded from losses.
3.Ascertain the reliability of accounting and other data developed within the company.
4.Take appropriate measures for the prevention of frauds and elimination of conditions inducing fraudulent actions.
5.Undertake special investigations at the directive of the Managing Director /Board of Directors
6.Formulate internal audit programs in order that all aspects of transactions are audited.
7.Ensures that the prescribed procedures are diligently followed within the company, so that appraisal and monitoring can be reliable and effective.
8.Prepare reports containing observations, comments and recommendations based on carried out work.
9.Liasing with the external auditors in order that both external and internal audit functions could be carried out efficiently and effectively with minimum duplication of efforts.
10.Reports regularly to Managing Director with regard to progress in achieving planned objectives.

Person Specifications :
Qualification :
** A university degree plus CPA /ACCA qualifications.
** Associate member of a recognized professional accounting body (NBAA/ACCA )
** At least 8 years experience in the related field. Should have extensive experience of managing and administering such department efficiently
** Complex decision making ability within time frame involving known and uncertain variables.
** High level of analytical abilities and personality characteristics.

2. Assistant Internal Auditors :
Nature and Scope of the position – Reports To Chief Internal Auditor

Duties :
1.Carry out audit program and auditing activities as directed by Chief Internal Auditor .
2.Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicate efforts, extra advance, fraud or non-compliance with the laws, regulations and management policies and guidelines.
3.Inspect account books and accounting system for efficiency,effectives,and us of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
4.Prepare detailed reports on auditing and make a follow up o the agreed implementation.
5.Asssist to prepare monthly report for the audit activities carried out every month by the audit department.

Qualifications :
** Ordinary Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent.
** At least two years experience in similar position and a registered member of the NBAA(Tanzania)
** Interaction ability within organization as well as with external sources
** High level of analytical abilities and personality characteristics.
** Ability to work independently with minimal supervision within tight reporting period.

3.Supplies Manager :
Duties and Responsibilities :
** Planning and coordinating all procurement activities of the company in accordance with the agreed budget.
** Planning and coordinating storage and control of all stocks.

Qualifications and Experience :
1.A University degree in Procurement and Logistics management.
2.A professional qualification in Procurement(Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional(CPSP)
3.At least five years experience in the field of logistics and procurement position ,in a managerial capacity.
4.Member of PSPTB.
