1.Japanese Speaking IT Engineer :
Responsibilities :
** Main responsibilities are in ensuring the smooth running of the system and networkinginfrastructure on our valued customer’s site. This will include monitoring, implementing, managing,trouble-shooting and maintaining of the existing system and network environments.
** To ensure that the performance and availability of the server, network infrastructure and facility iswell maintained, achieve the service level standard.
** To monitor, configure and maintain the customer’s PC, Server, PABX and networkinfrastructure (Router, Switch Firewall and so on) on business hour.
** To work on customer site to trouble-shoot not only on business hour but non-business hour.
** To coordinate trouble-shooting procedures with our valued customers, network carrier andrespective system and network vendors.
** To assist Sales and Project Management Division with technical specifications and proposals.
** To develop and enhance current policies, procedures, documentation for IT Out–Taskingworkflow and other related areas.
** To support implementation work for system engineer, when there is no need to go on-site.
** To perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements :
** Possess a degree in a related discipline with at least 2 years’ experience.
** Previous experience and knowledge in managing system and network infrastructure andpossesses CCNA and Windows certificates would be an advantageous.
** Experience in the operation, maintenance and administration of various operating systemsand applications; Microsoft Windows; Network and Server Monitoring, Backup, Telephonysystem and etc.
** Experience in networking protocols and equipment / appliance – TCP / IP, Ethernet, layer-2,switching and layer-3 routing; Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, IDS / IPS etc.
** Good understanding of Internet architectures and technology.
** Willing to work on stand-by basis and after office hours if needed.
** Good communication skills, motivated, self-directed and able to work effectively bothindependently or in a team.
** Proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese is mandatory.

2. Japanese Speaking Service Desk :
Key accountablities :
** To provide a professional first technical point of contact for the customer and third party vendors
** Diagnose fault-related incidents by effectively utilizing troubleshooting software and other network/product utility programs.
** Provide updates as needed to the customer in order to meet performance objectives and contractual objectives.
** To ensure incidents are allocated to the most appropriate ‘next step’ as part of the incident flow process
** To monitor incidents and perform both technical escalations and managerial escalations in line with company procedures.
** To monitor systems, customer networks and products, and deal with alerts and events as appropriate.
** To liaise and refer issues to correct/relevant entities e.g. other service desks, PTT, Carriers, Operations & Engineering teams and other Vendors as appropriate
** Document all troubleshooting and incident management actions via the electronic incident management system to the highest possible standard
** To undertake any other reasonable task as assigned

Knowledge and Abilities :
** Proficiency in both written & spoken Japanese & English is mandatory.
** Excellent customer facing skills are required.
** Good interpersonal and communication skills.
** Good time management, and organizational skills
** Ability to work under pressure.
** Ability to deal with multiple tasks.
** Team work, uses a team approach to solve problem when appropriate.
** A determination to process tasks according to pre-defined processes is essential.
** Ability to build relationships with peer and management levels both with clients and the company management
** Proactive, self-motivated and determined attitude.
** Good PC skills and application knowledge.
** Problem solving skills.
** Tenacity.
** 24×7 support is required – Flexibility in terms of working on shift.

Education, Qualifications, and Certifications :
** Degree or equivalent in IT, Electronics or Computer Sciences
** Professional certification like CCNA, MCSA etc would be an advantage
** Over 1 year experience in Network or IT Helpdesk (Software and/or Hardware) environment would be an advantage
** Over 1 year experience dealing directly with customers.

Technical knowledge :
Basic knowledge of IT and/or any of the below technologies needs to be demonstrated :
** IP knowledge – IPVPN, IP Telephony, Internet, LAN, etc
** Wide Area Network knowledge – ATM, Frame Relay, etc
** Cisco, servers, switches, and standard products knowledge preferred
