System Engineer :
Job Scope :
** As a system engineer, you will be providing IT implementation services to SMEs & Enterprise customers
** Regular meetings with customer in sizing up solutions.
** Regular visit to customer sites for project implementation. May be required to work over the weekends occasionally.
** Oversee the whole life cycle during project implementation : Requirement Gathering, Implementation, User Acceptance Testing, Documentation
Requirements :
** Good command in English
** Able to converse in a confident manner to customers
** Keen learner and self starter
** Diploma or Bachelor degree related to IT
1-3 years implementation experience in one or more of the following technologies :
** Clustering Solutions from Symantec, Oracle (Sun), Microsoft, Redhat
** Backup & Recovery solutions from Symantec, Legato, HP
** Strong OS knowledge in Solaris / RedHat / Windows
** Storage & data replication solutions from HDS, Oracle & Symantec
** Knowledge in workings of MS-SQL & Oracle databases
** Experience with SAN (Brocade / Cisco) & Storage (StorageTek / HDS / NetApps)
** Virtualization solutions using VMWare or Solaris LDOMs / Containers
