Senior Software Engineer :
Key Duties :
** To develop existing software
** Identification and analysis of the technical requirements.
** Analyze, design, document, code and test software deliverables, Prepare and maintain appropriate Technical Specifications.
** Provide guidance and suggestions to implement best practicesand techniques in coding and testing in accordance to coding guidelines.
** Conduct user trainings.
** Investigates and provide timely resolutions to issues found during unit testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
** Ability to respond to queries in a timely manner.
** Performs technical trouble shooting and resolve issues.
** Work Independently & within a team
** Ability to multitask
Education & Experience :
** Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computing Information Systems or Software Engineering.
** A minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in software development of object oriented applications using Microsoft technologies SQL programming, VB 6 , VB.NET and XML.
Skills & Knowledge :
** Ability to translate Functional Specification into Technical Specification.
** A minimum of 4-6 years of working experience in VB.NET, VB 6, Crystal Reports, Access Data base , Visual Studio, Server 2008/2005 and XML/XSL.
** Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to seeing tasks= through to completion.
** Good analytical and problem solving skills required to diagnose complex problems and find solutions.
** Good communication skills in English. Skills in other languages are advantageous.
** Disciplined use of source code control and process documentation.
** Experience in the ERP would be an advantage
