Workforce Capability Advisor :
Workforce Performance, Employee Relations and Reporting; Human Resources; Corporate Services; Brisbane

The Senior Advisor, Workforce Capability provides professional advice and support on organisational development and workforce capability issues ensuring that the organisation’s workforce strategies and initiatives build and sustain workforce capability.

Reporting to the Principal Advisor, Workforce Capability, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following :
** Plan, design, develop and manage the implementation of organisational-wide HR and organisational development strategies, policies and initiatives that are aligned to the DHPW values, strategic direction and fit for purpose.

Apply sound knowledge and expertise in one or more of the critical HR domains
:
1. Culture and Change
2. Performance and Capability
3. Resourcing and Retention.
** Establish and maintain key relationships with HR branch colleagues, especially HR Business Partners, to collaboratively develop and deliver best practice HR solutions and organisational development strategies that will drive business results.
** Input people management expertise and advice in the development of organisational-wide policies, programs and initiatives and work with the HR Business Partners to shape client-specific HR solutions.
** Develop frameworks, standards, methodologies, tools to support implementation, evaluation and ongoing maintenance of solutions.
** Contribute to the successful research, design and development of departmental HR initiatives and policies and facilitate shared learning of best practices across the Department.
** Analyse people metrics, evaluation data and other information to establish needs and measure effectiveness of HR solutions.
** Mentor and coach HR branch colleagues to develop branch capability.
** Work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team to lead and contribute to a variety of projects across the HR Branch including management of external providers where relevant.
** Engage actively in a team environment and contribute to a positive culture, upholding and demonstrating the organisational values.
