Senior Technical Officer :
Position Details :
Position no : 340886
Award : Tasmanian State Service Award
Classification : General Stream Band 5
Salary : $74,022 – $77,411 per annum
Work Type : Permanent full-time
Location : Hobart

Commencing salary within the above range will be determined in accordance with qualifications and previous relevant experience.

Duties :
As a senior technical specialist, carry out complex tasks in the Plan Examination Section associated with the examination, production and recording of plans and cadastral information. Liaise with clients and within the Branch in relation to cadastral and related legal and procedural matters. Assist with quality control and workflow management.

Essential Requirements :
An Advanced Diploma of Spatial Information Services, or equivalent level, relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by either a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.

Desirable Requirements :
Experience in using “Microstation” computer drafting software, Mapinfo and Arcview mapping software or similar.
