PCB Design Engineer :
GHDsign is always looking for highly skilled PCB design engineers.
Responsibilities will include:
All aspects with PCB design/layout: Kick-off Meeting with Client, Schematic issues, Incoming Data Verification, Footprint generation, Mechanical Definitions, Constraint Setup, Floor Planning and Component Placement, Critical Nets Considerations, Manual & Auto Route, EMI and SI Simulation, Check and Plots, Quality Control and Assurance, DFM Verification, FAB- and ASSY Data Package.
** Interacting with hardware engineers to implement designs.
** Compromise design requirements for optimum solutions.
** DFM and DFA compliance.
** Delivery “right the first time” solutions on time every time.
Duties will include:
** Perform PCB Design/Layout.
** Anticipate, identify, and resolve design issues in a timely and efficient manner.
** Perform excellent customer service and interaction.
** Work very closely with the entire design and sales team.
** Participation in preparation and validation of RFQ’s.
** Support the sales team in initial sales meetings.
** Maintaining shared libraries.
** Ensure ongoing QA/QC and constantly update and improve our high quality assurance.
Minimum requirements:
** 3+ years PCB design experience required. BSEE preferable.
** Experience with Allegro, Expedition and PADS software platforms.
** Read and understand the basics in a Schematic.
Experience with: Multi-layer PCB and stack up building. ? HS and HDI boards with blind & buried via technology. ? Analog, Mixed Signals and RF design. ? Auto-Routers. ? Transmission line design practice. ? Signal integrity.
** Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
** A good sense of humor would be beneficial.
** US citizenship is required.
