1. Associate VP of Administrative Services :
Position Overview :
This position is the chief administrative services leader for the institution, responsible for planning, administering, evaluating, and improving institutional services, systems and personnel in the following areas : accounting, budgeting, personnel, payroll, purchasing and inventory, financial aid, human resources, building and grounds maintenance and security, information technology and auxiliary services.
Master’s degree in business or educational administration. At least 5 years of senior management experience in business, or education settings; demonstrated capacity to lead and motivate personnel; strategic planning leadership experience, budgeting and/or financial management experience; excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills; a high level of computer literacy and IT skills; working knowledge of construction or engineering; knowledge of the governmental fiscal regulations and processes; ability to quickly interpret a variety of information/data in written, oral, or graphic form; ability to effectively interact with the Board of Directors and other senior administrative personnel; strong supervisory, communication, and problem solving skills.
2. Associate VP of Fund Development :
Position Overview :
This position is responsible for helping to design and implement a comprehensive development program for the institute under the leadership of the President. The program incorporates fundraising with a heavy emphasis on major individual, corporate and planned gifts. He or she will also engage in corporate, alumni and foundation fundraising.
An advanced degree from an accredited college required. A minimum of 5 years senior managerial experience; knowledge of program development in a higher education environment; ability and willingness to travel, when necessary; ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends required; excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; excellent administrative skills required; previous experience working with senior-level executives preferred; knowledge of prospect management systems preferred; knowledge of database fundraising software is desirable and web fundraising experience is desirable.
3.Director of Financial Services :
Position Overview :
This position has overall responsibility for management of the fiscal affairs of BTVI. Plans, administers, monitors and evaluates financial services including accounting, budgeting, payroll, purchasing, student accounts, stores and inventory.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting, business administration, or finance. CPA designation preferred.
At least 5 years’ work experience as an accountant in an educational environment or related position with 3 years of those being at the supervisory level. Experience using on-line electronic/computer financial information systems such a Quick Books. Ability to make advanced math calculations, analyze detailed numerical records and transactions related to budget, accounts and payroll information. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of information/data in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to effectively present and explain financial information and respond to budget and accounting questions from departmental, institutional and Board personnel; strong supervisory and communication skills.
