Late Work Out Officer ( SE & Corporate ) :
The Late Workout unit is established within the Workout Department for the purpose of maximizing the recoveries of the SE & Corporate portfolio distressed / problematic loans.
Main responsibilities :
** Maximize recovery on own portfolio
** Perform mandatory actions on the case as per internal guidelines
** Determine best workout strategy, including calculation of business plan evaluation of current business activity in order to define if there is any last chance for restructure before exit.
** Propose strategy for a solution (detailed into intervention plan) to decision body
** Execute approved strategy, e.g. lead negotiations and make sure that PLC decision is accepted by the client
** Timely & accurate write-off process in compliance with local & group regulations and strict follow up of own written-off portfolio in collaboration with Legal officer.
** Lead relationship with assigned clients and determine best workout strategy with the aim to minimize losses.
** Administers the process of preparing the documentation for PLC / decision making authorities.
** Maintain contact with related roles within the Bank and collaborate closely with them to optimize the process.
** Participates at seminars, workshops, conferences and meetings related with his/her duties on request or suggested by HR.
** Assists upon request all audit teams internal / external.
** Fulfils the other duties assigned by superiors.
Competencies / Skills :
** University degree in Economic field
** Previous experience in Workout and/or SE/ Corporate Business and/or Underwriting/ Risk, preferably min 2 years
** Detailed knowledge of options for restructuring solutions is a must, while knowledge on the execution procedures and /or bankruptcy would be an advantage.
** Very good analytical and financial skills – ability to analyze deals for complex cases (e.g., for different structures of deals)
** Very good knowledge of legal issues in recovery, requiring minimum involvement of legal specialists
** Ability to participate in difficult negotiations
** Strong time management skills for processing and managing multiple cases in parallel
** Very strong negotiation & communication skills.
** Knowledge of bank’s systems
** High ethical standards
** Very good knowledge of English language
