General Manager – Khiri Travel Thailand
Job Descriptions :
The General Manager is one of the top positions at Khiri Travel in which you report to the Vice President. You will be based at our Khiri Travel Thailand head office in Nonthaburi/Bangkok.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Lead product & contracting development
Sustain the current growth path of Khiri Travel Thailand
Prepare and manage yearly company budgets
Be an advocate of the company’s Core Values
Be part of the management team which includes the operation manager, the assistant reservations manager and the chief accountant
Manage the two branch offices in Chiang Mai and Phuket
Increase company visibility in the industry and be an ambassador for the brand
Approve daily payments
Assist to make sure all is running smooth in the reservations department and do part of the correspondence with agents to advise about outlined itinerary
Creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures for related departments
Overseeing product training and knowledge sharing projects
Manage HR activities
Tactical relations with other Khiri companies in the group
Account Management:
Pro-actively engage our corporate clients (tour operators), lead resolving structural problems and customer complaints
Maximizing potential of existing clients and increasing margin and turnover by product analysis and improvements
Managing product-related correspondence between the sales teams and their corporate clients
Customer Care and Quality Control:
Be a role model for the management and team
Leading, developing and managing the operations and customer relations teams
Managing client and supplier feedback
Implementation of Jambix software system throughout all company departments
Active involvement in Khiri Reach projects
Qualifications:
Minimum 410years’ experience in travel industry – preferable in SE Asia (Thailand)
A passion for traveling and open to explore different cultures
Knowledge of Thai travel products
Excellent communication skills in English
Experience in sales in the travel industry and willing to travel
Service minded person with attention to detail
Able to think out of the box
