Senior Energy Engineer :
Optegy is looking for a client-focussed engineer to join our Hong Kong team.
This position will be involved in assessing potential opportunities for energy savings, conducting energy audits, measurement and verification of energy savings, design and develop energy solutions, quality assurance, and technical trouble-shooting.
Technical Requirements :
You will have a relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, with interest in mechanical heating and cooling systems, analysis of mechanical systems within buildings, and building automation systems.
** Experience in air conditioning and building controls is essential.
** Qualifications in mechanical or building services engineering.
** Verbal English skills with ability to read/write technical documents in English.
** PC skills including spreadsheets, word processing and aptitude to learn technical software tools.
Candidates without qualifications but with strong practical experience are also encouraged to apply.
Person Skills :
** Strong customer focus.
** Attention to detail.
** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
** Good verbal & written English.
** Fluency in Cantonese, with Mandarin an advantage.
** Comfortable working in an international environment.
Office Location :
Central, Hong Kong. Some travel may be required.
