Marketing Specialist for Mass Spectrometry :

The Position :
** We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to support the market expansion of our highly innovative software product Genedata Expressionist® for Mass Spectrometry, a comprehensive, enterprise software solution for the analysis and management of mass spectrometry data.
** As part of a dynamic marketing team, you will work on all major marketing activities that support the sale of the product and to grow its application in biotherapeutics R&D.
** In addition, you will act as an interface between software and business development teams and work closely with external customers.
** This position is based at our headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities :
** Drive and execute marketing and external communication activities
** Develop content for marketing collateral, implement case studies and white papers in collaboration with external customers, and coordinate the writing of articles for journal publications
** Support and train our business development teams using product expertise, scientific presentations, and software demonstrations
** Identify new business opportunities and support the sales lead generation and qualification process
** Identify and specify customer needs and requirements, in particular with regard to data management and analysis processes.
** Map requirements to the existing capabilities of the software or define new development activities
** Coordinate launch of new software releases with product management, sales and product development team.
** Track market development, follow relevant academic research, and analyze competing products and solutions
Your Profile :
** MS or Ph.D. in bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, or a related field – additional formal education in marketing is highly desirable
** Proven track record in marketing or marketing communications within the scientific software or mass spectrometry market – demonstrated product launch experience is a plus
** Comprehensive understanding of mass spectrometry platforms and data, ideally in the context of biopharma applications
** Knowledge of the pharmaceutical R&D processes
** Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
** Ability to collaborate, network, and influence in a cross-functional environment
** Strong initiative and dedication to quality of work with hands-on mentality
