Technician – Telecoms :
** Teledata Technologies Ltd, a Systems and Solutions Provider in Telecoms, Power Systems, ICT Networks, Security Solutions and Audio-Visual Systems,wishes to recruit ambitious, dynamic and innovative individuals who will drive their own growth.
** The main purpose of the job is to make use of technical knowledge to provide innovative advice and technically sound solutions and support to customers on the ranges of products mentioned above.
Job description:
** Collection of technical data in Site Surveys
** Translation of client requirements into Bills of Quantities for Costing Purposes
** Performance of installations within the scope and provide advise should variations arise
** Preparation and follow through Project Commissioning exercises
** Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education and after-sales support services
** Preparation of technical reports for the management
** Provide technical presentations as and when required
** Liaise with the suppliers of the products to cast an accurate fit for a solution
** Help in the design of custom-made products and solutions
** Provide training to other members of the technical team
** Understand and implement engineering regulatory and compliance requirements
Required qualification:
** National Diploma in Telecommunications or Equivalent
** 2years of working experience in a vibrant technical implementation environment
Any two combinations of the following Certifications will be considered as a bare minimum:
** HP (Data Center & Cloud, Networking, Servers, Storage, Solutions and Desktops & Workstations)
** Microsoft (Microsoft Certified Professional)
** Cisco (SMB Account Manager or SMB Engineer certification)
** Oracle
Personal attributes:
Should be a Self-starter, Results-driven, Innovative, Effective Communicator both Oral and Written.
