BETELCO (Manufacturing Electrical machineries in the power sector) require experienced personnel in the following fields for its expansion program. Applications are hereby invited for the following positions.

Junior Architect + Graphic Designer :
Job Description / Responsibility :
Knowledge + competency of the following software :
** Adobe Photoshop – skill level (high)
** Adobe Illustrator – skill level (high)
** Adobe Premier – skill level (basic/medium)
** Adobe PDF writer – skill level (high)
** AutoCAD 2D and 3D – skill level (medium)
** Google Sketchup – skill level (medium)
** Microsoft Word – skill level (high)
** Microsoft Excel – skill level (basic/medium)
** Microsoft Power Point – skill level (high)
** 3D Studio Max – skill level (medium)
** Web Design related software – skill level (medium)
** Must either have knowledge (or be willing to learn) about preparing images/files for printing/publishing, such as preparing negatives and other back-end preparations necessary for required printed documents. Candidate must be willing and able to take charge of entire printing/publishing process which will involve coordination with outside vendors such as printing presses etc. This will require spending time outside the office.
** Must have enough knowledge to be able to move between software in preparing presentation documents.
** Must have enough knowledge about editing/updating/designing website.

About 60%-70% will involve direct graphic design related work, such as assisting in preparation of product brochures, different kinds of Ads(including composition of short promotional videos), calendars, notebooks, different promotional items. Other work may involve CAD related work such as drafting and design (of products and technical drawings) in 2D and 3D.

In areas where candidate’s knowledge is not sufficient, he/she must be willing and able to learn relevant software to meet our needs. Training may be provided in required areas to fill in the gaps.

Educational Requirements :
** Candidate must be able to read and write in Bangla/ English
** Must be computer literate, be familiar in the use of software (mentioned above), e-mail, must be able to read/interpret technical drawings
** Minimum education level should be Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or other design-related field)

Experience Requirements :
** Fresh graduate (or 1-2 years)
** The applicants with prior experience should have experience in the following area(s) :
** Architectural drawings, CAD 2D & 3D, graphic design, document presentation

Additional Job requirements :
** Age 22 to 25 year(s)
** Must be self motivated, good communicator, easy to work with personality in a team environment requiring timely co-ordination and execution tied to deadlines and budgets
** Must also be able and willing to share knowledge gathered (during course of performing job) with co-workers, manage day-to-day tasks of their direct sub-ordinates that are aligned with the company goals, objectives and mission statement
** Must be willing to work long hours and occasionally during weekends depending on workload.

Salary Range : Negotiable
