** The Tendering Officer will be reporting to the Tendering Manger.
** As such, the incumbent assumes responsibility to support the tendering Manager on goals that are directed towards the appropriation of new contracts.
** Without limiting the scope of the assignment, the primary function of the position is to identify prospective business opportunities and prepare professionally compiled tenders that suitably curtails the client commercial risk and accurately prices the scope of works.
Key Job Responsibilities:
** Identifying and following up on all potential leads for prospective business.
** In conjunction with the management team, assist in selecting tenders to pursue based on our relative competitiveness, capabilities and workload.
** Managing and coordinating the outputs of our tendering support personnel towards achieving the unit’s tendering goals.
** Overseeing the timely and professional preparation of tender submissions.
** Reviewing drawings and technical backup information to be submitted.
** Where possible, directing the drawing office to optimise designs for alternative, more cost effective solutions.
** Preparing and following up on tender clarification submissions.
** Ensuring that tender site meetings are attended and relevant information fed back for inclusion in tenders.
** Evaluating technical requirements and assigning portions of the scope to various subcontractors and suppliers.
** Sourcing supplier and subcontractor quotations and following up where necessary.
** Evaluating conditions of tender/contract and mitigating the company’s risk exposure.
** Preparing and presenting tender vets for approval purposes.
** Preparing commercial and technical write up on our offer for inclusion in tenders.
** Preparing BBBEE responses for tendering purposes.
** Compiling bills of materials (if necessary).
** Estimating and preparing accurate schedules of prices.
** Preparing preliminary project programmes.
** Completing technical schedules to detail the parameters of our offer.
** Participate in contract award negotiations.
** Working in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
** Compiling and submitting reports on tendering feedback on a monthly basis.
** Performing any other ancillary and other duties that may be reasonably expected by the company, as and when required.
Minimum Education and Experience:
** BSc , B.Eng. or HND in Engineering or Sciences.
** Computer Literacy in Access, Excel, Word, AutoCAD and preferably Knowledge of Pegasus operation Software.
** A sound Knowledge in Engineering & Background will be an added advantage.
** A minimum of 5 years Experience in a similar role in the Oil & Gas Industry.

Business Development Manager :

Job Location: Lagos + Occasional travel to Port Hracourt
Function: Commercial & Communication
Key Job Responsibilities:
** The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing business and marketing of the companies interests in the oil and gas service sector and government agencies.
** The role reports to the Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer.
** He will also be involved in gathering of information on customers, generating leads for possible sales and communicating and coordinating with company CEO on new contract development matters.
** Increase and maintain customer intimacy through strategic relationship with customer’s management based on a clear understanding of customer’s needs, vision and strategy.
** Develop strategy around submission of tender and contract documents within key IOC’s and NOC’s.
** Rigorously follow up of the Bid management process and accurately manage maintaining the CRM database.
** Provide regular feedback to appropriate senior/group management on the status of customers business, changes in their requirements and organisation so as to ensure that existing and future contracts and bids can be delivered in the most efficient and effective way.
** Meet with existing and prospect customers to develop effective working relationships and identify and obtain further their future programs.
** Provide detailed updates and forecasts on changes in client and competitor status and activity to ensure that business opportunities are fully exploited.
** Write, analyze and evaluate reports on projects or activities of the IOC/NOC… or the Industry.
** Build key relationships with personnel in all the major stakeholders in the Oil & Gas sector (IOC’s, DPR etc).
** Follow up on a daily basis required project or tendering information.
** Identify areas of opportunity through company Client strengths and Competitors weaknesses and generate internal monthly activity report.
** Clear understanding of organizational protocol for all companies and Governmental and Non Governmental Bodies having direct and indirect influence on the implementation of the company Client strategy. Identifying key decision makers.
** To coordinate on a daily basis the activities of the Oil and Gas Industry, especially with NAPIMS,DPR,NIPEX,NNPC or any new Governmental body to be created.
Minimum Education and Experience:
** Must have basic Degree in Arts, Social Science or Engineering, MBA is an added advantage
** A min 8 years sales or business development experience of solution selling, gained within Oil & Gas sector.
** Excellent international mindset gotten from studies abroad and/or experience in a global company.
** Must have sound business judgment in determining what issues need to be elevated to appropriate level of authority.
** Must have good knowledge of marketing & efficient sales techniques.
** Must know how to handle project management and feasibility study.
** Must have good negotiation, influencing and sales skills.
** High proficiency in MS Office applications.
** Must be result oriented and outgoing.
