Senior Network Engineer & Systems Specialist :
** This is a network and systems engineering consultancy role in a small team of well-regarded industry specialists.
** At Prophecy Networks Ltd. we have expertise in the areas of network architecture, design,deployment, testing and operations for large organisations. ** We believe in providing our engineers with the freedom they require to perform at their best for our customers.
This role includes:
** Work across both wired and wireless technologies at the level of large enterprise,government and telecommunications carriers
** Creation of new solution architectures
** Augmentation, upgrading and re-architecting of existing solutions
** Authoring of detailed design collateral
** Creation and validation of detailed build procedures
** Technical acceptance testing
** Work with technologies including IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, 3GPP, Sigtran,RADIUS, Diameter, Stateful Firewalls, Virtual Routers etc.
The ideal candidate will have :
** A background working in telecommunications and/or carrier grade networking
** The ability to articulate and document technical solutions clearly
** The ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
** Excellent presentation and customer relationship skills
** Experience with legacy technologies such as TDM, ATM, SS7 etc.
** Experience with a diverse range of platforms and will feel comfortable transferring skills between platforms and device types
** The ability to both innovate and work to established protocol as the situation or customer requires
