** With ambitious targets and genuine scope to achieve them, this could be the most exciting role in the lubricants industry.
** Through the Farmlands network of retail stores, the nationwide fuel team and direct sales to the automotive trade, Gulf Oil has a strong national footprint to assist in actively promoting this iconic and exciting lubricants brand.
** As Channel Development Manager, you will actively pursue and develop new business opportunities within commercial distribution channels.
** Your two primary areas of focus will be to further develop and maximise opportunities within established accounts across the country and to develop new business channels, building on the momentum of the Gulf brand that is already growing strongly in New Zealand.
** Attitude is everything in this role – for us that means someone that is prepared to learn quickly, be proactive, can turn challenges into opportunities and approaches everything with guts, determination and tenacity.
** You’ll need a solid background in business development, preferably in the lubricants industry.

** Ideally, you’ll be based in Christchurch, however we are willing to consider other locations for the right person.

About the role :
** We have opportunities for two Credit Managers to join our Credit team based in Christchurch.
** Now is an exciting time to join us.
** You will have the opportunity to develop and implement a new policy framework for all credit operations and directly influence many parts of an incredibly diverse organisation.
** Reporting to the GM Credit and working alongside a team of skilled professionals, your primary role will be to assess the credit risk of Farmlands shareholders, as well as Finance and Fuel customers.
** You will have a successful track record in the assessment and minimisation of credit risk, combined with the ability to analyse and interpret policy, articulating this to the business with simplicity and clarity.
** As an experienced Credit Manager who is versatile and eager to expand your boundaries, you will be able to hit the ground running and be comfortable adapting to new surroundings and procedures.
** A background in commercial and rural lending and the ability to influence, negotiate and communicate at all levels will allow you to be successful in this role.
