Production Planner
Environment & Setting :
NHV is a fast growing international helicopter operator, with its supporting services in Ostend (Belgium). At this moment there are about 350 employees working for NHV. The Headquarter is located in Oostende, Belgium from which all Business Units are supported.
NHV activities are located in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, French-Guyana and several countries in Africa (Ghana, Ivory Coast).
NHV provides daily off- & on-shore helicopter services for the Oil & Gas Industry, the Maritime Pilot Services, Hospitals and several Governments.
NHV is also an official Airbus Helicopters Maintenance, Distributor & Service Center, with base maintenance stations in Belgium, Netherlands & Ghana.
NHV has approved Line stations in:
Oostende, Belgium – Norwich, UK – Wick, UK – Rotterdam, The Netherlands- Den Helder, The Netherlands – Lille, France – Arras, France – Laon, France – Amiens, France – Bra-sur-Lienne, Belgium – Takoradi, Ghana – Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
NHV Technics is a Part 145 approved organization with the following scope: Eurocopter AS365 N2 & N3 – Eurocopter EC120 C – MD 900/902 – Eurocopter EC145 (BK117C-2) – Eurocopter EC155 B1- Eurocopter AS332 L2
NHV is licensed by the Belgian authorities as a Flight Training Organization (FTO) and a Part 147 Maintenance Training Organization (MTOE). NHV has its own Flight Simulator in Ostend.

Main purpose of the job :
The production planner’s function is to perform production planning of all Work Orders within the planning cell and in cooperation with the maintenance planners.

Tasks & Duties :
Production Planner’s main duties and responsibilities are:
Planning :
Responsible for the job card creation and structure, upon receiving the Work Order
Managing the scheduling of the works in the production environment
Tool availability
Equipment availability
Manpower availability
Managing the business benefits of effective production planning
Reports and manages the manpower calculation and planning in cooperation with the duty roster scheduler.
Reports on the needed man hours resulting from the Rusada system (NHV Enterprise Resource Planning system), in order to control and optimize the planning of the engineers.
Responsible for controlling the calibrated and special tools for availability and determines the minimum required tool per base in cooperation with the P145 project engineer.
Keep track on the actual performed man hour against the planned man hour in order to adapt and optimize the Production Program.
On the Rusada system:
Report any error/discrepancy in the database
Will propose and test system improvements
Liaison with Chief Engineers on continued Work Orders.
Backup for Base and Line Maintenance Planning.

Labour Conditions :
38h/week, working outside normal hours when required
Based in Ostend

Dimensions :
6 types of helicopters resulting in a fleet of over 27 aircraft and growing (EC175 on order).
HQ function
Operations : 24/7 – 365 days/year
Operations are spread along different business units.

Requirements/Job profile :
Minimum of 5 years work experience is required
Bachelor degree or relevant by experience
Experience in maintenance planning is a must
Full awareness of the Maintenance Planning Fundamentals
Understanding and controlling the maintenance task data sources
Full awareness of the approved Maintenance Program of the operator and understands the philosophy behind it.
Shop floor experience is a plus.

Languages:
English and French (professional level of speaking, writing and understanding),
Knowledge of another language is an advantage

ICT-literate especially MS Office 2007. Experience in MRO systems is a plus.
Knows and operates by the procedures & processes (operational, quality, safety,…) installed by the company

Chief Engineer HEMS

Main purpose of the job
Tasks & Duties :
His/her main duties and responsibilities are:
** Line Maintenance
In order to assure daily business continuity for the HEMS operations at Lille, Arras, Laon, Amiens and Bra-sur-Lienne, the Chief Engineer will
o Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations (EC 1056/2008, Annex II)
o Ensure that all maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the BCAA/EASA and MOE. instructions
o Ensure, together with all HEMS Engineers, a variable & flexible work planning & work roster based on business needs that supports & realizes business continuity
o Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need.
o Ensure briefing& debriefing of pilots, BU Manager
o Report daily on the maintenance situation
o Ensure, in cooperation with NHV Supply Chain, Store & MCC that the necessary maintenance material & spare parts are present on the site at the planned moment

** Base Maintenance
In order to assure long term business continuity for the HEMS operations at Lille, Arras, Laon, Amiens and Bra-sur-Lienne, the Chief Engineers will
o Assist within the necessary base maintenance of the HEMS aircraft
** Supporting functions
o Will provide support to NHV Ground Operations, eg Chopper Spotter maintenance,..

Labour Conditions :
** Location: Ostend, Laon, Bra-sur-Lienne, Lille, Amiens, Arras
** Monday to Friday – 38 hrs/week

Dimensions :
** 2 types of helicopters: MD900-902 + EC145
** 6 helicopters in operations
** Maintenance briefing with present Flight Crew at every visit
** 600 hrs Base Maintenance for every helicopter to be expected on a yearly basis
** Operations at NHV: 24/7 – 365 days/year

Requirements/Job profile :
** EASA Part 66 B1.3/B2 and/or C
** Type Rating on MD900/902 – EC145
** Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation is preferred
** ICT-literate (specific aviation software & MS Office).
** Languages: English & Dutch & French (As the company language is English, this is mandatory)
